S4 Rx7 front bumper / fender support body work

So I was in a small collision of which the only noticeable damage seems to be the front bumper / fender support side bracing. From the FSM, it looks to be these two here:



You can kind of see how bent it is on the right:



Has anyone replaced these before? Just looking for some insight on what's required. If they are bolt on or require welding. Thanks!

They are welded(factory spot welds them).

you might try bending it back straight. its really flimsy once you unbolt the two bars. the FSM has a section in the back with measurements

you'll see more bent stuff once the bumper is off too, crumple zone...

Dang, alright. I had found a clean shell and was hoping to swap things, but if they are welded then I'm out.

I had previously gotten a quote from a body shop when it first happened, so I will probably just go that route then, since you say there is probably more that will need adjusted.
