I have a S4 radiator in my S5. I think it's from an '88. Just make sure it has a radiator cap on it.

ok sounds good... i was just kinda skeptical since the s5 radiator has a extended neck from the radiator itself and then the cap is like on its own off the radiator...

any other people with views on this?

Well the S4 design is almost a completely sealed system where the cap is around the thermostat area. And since it sits higher up than the rest of the cooling system, less chance for air bubble formation I supposed.

thats good... the reasons i need to change the radiator is that the bottom drain plug is stripped and it like jammed in there... also i need to change my thermostat so i wanted to do it all in one stop instead of one thing at a time and waste money...

when i went to the junkyard i was kinda worried that it wouldnt work... so i bought the warranty just in case...

2morrow iam gonna change mine over and my car should be running great agian...

You can get a stripped radiator drain plug out by taking a big phillips screwdriver and heating the tip up with a torch, and then melting the plastic of the drain plug with the tip. After letting the plastic cool, you should be able to unscrew the plug.

lol.. if its the plug that was stripped i would have just replaced the plug.. but for some odd reason its the threads on the radiator itself thats stripped....heh
