I dunno, mine has the damn automatic seat belts. Dont all S5's have the automatic belts?

 

The guy thats selling it is from Canada, maybe S5 in canada has manual ones?

 

IIRC the auto belts were a US thing only.

 

I can confirm that Canadian S5's have manual belts, none of the auto belt crap for us. I do beleive it's a US only thing as well (I can't confirm it though), something to do with the different laws in the US at the time requiring some sort of SRS system (either airbags or auto belts). That's why so many late 80's and early 90's cars have the auto belts.

 

No, only S5 US spec Coupes.

The S5 US spec convertibles and all outside of the US S5 coupes and convertibles had conventional seat belts.
