Intresting leanness at 2k-4k. What is your S-AFC set to at this point?

Damn nice numbers. I hope to get closer to 300 soon. But mine isn't the stock turbo anymore.

I've got a similar prob with my car, with my fuel pump dying out occasionally. Only on a top speed run, after about 10 seconds on full throttle. It sucks. Any other time, it's fine, but in 4rth of 5th gear, it starts to lean out big time, even though I don't have any boost creep. My f/a ratio just starts to go really lean after a bit... I can't really tune to the edge because of that.

bambam7 a FCD (fuel cut defender) might be just what you need.. are you running a piggyback or standalone system or standard ecu? possibly wiring to the fuel pump is stuffed or you need a larger fuel pump

What was the ambient temps?
Is this a truly stock motor and turbo?
Did I read something wrong somewhere???
I find it hard to believe a stock motor with stock turbo put up that kinda numbers.&nbsp Most Zenki turbos max out around 230hp to the wheels...maybe 240.&nbsp You're making at least 20 more hp than all of those people.&nbsp I've tried it with my car, and I only made 254 with a small comp upgrade!

Ted,

Jay Dahl (OPEC) made nearly 250rw on only 10psi on a stock ECU/Stock motor/stock turbo with his AF in the 10's a few years ago. Rememeber WAY back in the day too, Jeff Hurst was cutting mid 12.6's on street radials on the stock turbo (albiet with the wastegate stuck shut). It won't be long before someone is knocking on the consistent 12's and the 280ish rwhp area with a stock turbo.

If he is making 260's on the stock ECU, getting the air flow meter out of the mix, and giving it a little more timing up top with a real ECU...........

Maybe its the dyno or something. Because in his sig. he made 178rwhp completely stock at stock boost. Thats like a 2% drivetrain loss on a 14 year old motor.

I put down 232 @ just under 11 pounds. With a front mount and the mbc set to 1bar I'm willing to bet I could pull 25x somewhere.

I haven't been dynoed but I know I am wayyyy under what I should be right now. Best I could get was a 13.8 @102 with a 2.0 60'. My engine is getting rebuilt/ported in the next few weeks though. My compression is all in the 80s

I remember when he posted the dyno a while back. At first he was just running 720cc secondaries with a walbro, but was running lean before they came online. Then he switched to a 720/850 setup iirc. The afr on the 268 dyno was virtually a horrizontal line at 12:1. I have no idea about the porting.

At any rate, I don't know if he even has the 10AE anymore. He has a much more fun car to play with.

You'll always get that when using mismatched primary and secondary injectors and an S-AFC. The S-AFC is not sophisticated enough to smooth out the transition.

Looking at the A/F graph though, I'd say the settings at that area are way out, and the transistion could be improved.

At the time as far as i know Sandor had:

Full exhaust, intake, Greddy VSPL FMIC, S-AFC, Fuel pump and 720cc secondaries.

After he replaced the primaries he did over 300ftlbs.
