S4 GXL > TII Swap problems.
Okay so yesterday i finished getting my car put together and got it to start no prob except it wouldnt idle. now it wont start without throttle being applied and then it just dies after 5 seconds, the exhaust it is putting out while it runs smell like gass so i unhooked my pump and the 40A fuse and cranked it for a while to no avail. It's driving me nuts trying to figure this out. i have gone over it and cannot find a single vac leak and am out of ideas.

You could have a Vacuum leak..or the AFM not plugged in..or the Fuel regulator is not getting vacuum...lots of stuff IT can be doing.
Please explain what you have in the engine bay, what you did to the car in detail.
Are you running the TII Ecu on an N/A harness..etc,etc.

check if fuel injectors r spraying. did you rebuilded this motor? also check if the injector connectors are in good shape, no broken tabs, loose pins, switched connectors or exposed wires as this will not give full voltage to the injectors to spray correctly. this has happened to me, i have had the same symptoms you had, i replaced the connectors and it fired right up.

You had stated that the car died after running for five seconds. The car does not need the AfM to "start" the car but it does to run the car. There is an aspect of the AFM, that if not functioning properly, would cause the car to die immediately after starting and is fuel related. Jumpering the fuel check connector would tell you whether this aspect of the AFM is at fault or not.
