S4 FMIC mounting ideas

Hey guy's ive got a decent size intercooler (nothing to large though) that im looking to fit soon on my 'vert and i am just looking at options to mounting it.. catch is im keeping my A/C and P/S 8) and i don't want to cut anything major or move A/C or P/S lines. (i will be doing some cutting for the pipes)

my cooler is 450x300x76 plus tanks.. I am looking at mounting it like the car at the link > http://us.1.p.geocities.com/t210than...?1050540501856 i think he is from here??

I think I can get it in there without major cutting of the bar or chassis, if mounted like above but on a slight angle so that it sits within the front bar. that guy as cut his bar a bit to fit it >>

anyone done this and kept it all within the bar and without cutting the bumper iron?? like this>>>

is this guy on here? loks good but I dont know if they had cut or remove or otherwise modified the bumper iron??

(keep in mine my car is a JDM and might be a little different in the bumper area too
I think ive got it sussed, just looking for some extra input from anyone that might have done theirs.
Any input would be appreciated

You can push the fmic as far back as you want, you ust have to grind the crap out of some of the car's structure. I believe the top picture had none of its support structure grinded, bottom one would probably be the oposite.

Thanks for the reply,

the top one has a little peice cut off (like a lip on the rail?) it shows it on one of the pics in that link. My cooler's ends tanks clear the chassis rails (one reason i went a little smaller) but the pipe outlet's still come out beyond the rail width a bit

I quite like this arrangement, because it keeps the pipes short and free of too many bends (unlike a true "front-mounted" intercooler). A bit of thought would be required to keep the P/S and A/C though...

Wow, that is an insane IC. Sure seems like there would be no airflow to the rad.
