S4 Engine ID Number?

Hi -- does anyone know where the Engine ID Numbers is on NA S4 engines?

I think he might be talking about the VIN.

I found mine in front of the dashboard on the driver's side.

Exactly... for example, my car's papers state that my engine number is:

13B E062234

But I cannot find this number anywhere
