Question S4 Brake Master Cylinder

I have a 86' base model and my master cylinder is crap. Will a S4 TII MC work? Are there any differeces? They both have no ABS. Someone is selling me this part tonight if it will work.

There are 2 or 3 different master cylinders for FCs. If I remember correctly, TII's and NA masters are different. Check to see how the hydraulic lines are arranged coming out of the MC. They come out in different places.

I just read the manual and the only info I can find is that the NA's use 3 hydralic lines and the Turbo uses 2. I guess this means it wont work.

ABS equipped use 2 lines, non-abs equipped use 3 lines, thats it. NA and TII master cylinders are same, difference is in brake boosters (4lug cars does have smaller brake booster)

^

all about S4

S4 vs S5 interchangeable too, but u have to swap whole assembly (master cylinder together with brake booster)

Well Im getting a entire master cylinder/booster assembly from this S4 TII. Both cars are non ABS. But I can only see two hydralic lines running to my master cylinder. Does one connect on the bottem?

Okay, do S4 TII use 4 lug or 5 lug? And if so does this mean I cant use the assembly? Im trying to understand this, I feel like such a noob.

S4 TII uses 5 lug, if u are swapping whole assembly then it should be no problem (non abs MC does have one line going down (front left caliper) one going left and one right (front right caliper and rear brakes)

As far as i know, proportion valves are all same
