s4 AFM question

I have an auto, non-turbo series 4.

Had a dyno run on the weekend and pulled 101.6hp. The guy running the dyno said I was running really lean and that my AFM is stuffed.

I was just wondering if there is any difference in the auto/manual, s4/s5 and turbo/non-turbo AFM's.

Will any just simply plug in and work, or does it have to be the same type?

101 hp is really low, make sure your aux ports are working.

Can you scan in the dyno sheet? Maybe the power band will help narrow the problem down.

How did he know the car was running lean? Was he checking with a wideband, an EGT, reading the plugs, or all three? If a wideband, where was it placed?

How does he know that the AFM is bad? Did he test it according to the FSM?
