Question S4 13B N/A - 6Port Streetport (intake??)

When it comes to porting the housings and irons. I realized that if the 6 ports in the 13B would also cover the intake ports right? Would it be a wise decsion to port the intake manifold? Wouldn't there be some drag or wind/air resistance because the ports are matched up?

Can someone who has done the 6port street port and I believe its 2 intakes right? Can you post some information on this? I've asked a couple of people but they work on boaring piston driven engines and I just want to see if the concept is the same. Im sure it is... right?

Thanks much!

Yes, it's a good idea to hone the inside of the intake runners out to accomodate added airflow. Finding a shop that can do it for you will be the hard part. Personally, I'd calculate the area of the stock 6 ports and compare it to the area the ports have when modified. Apply the same percentage increase to the intake runners and you should end up with a good balance between airflow and air velocity.
