What did i do wrong?

My S-AFC won't save it's settings.
Did i forget a wire???

Also with it not saving and going back to factory settings, will that effect my car in any way???

Thx.

There probably is a battery backup inside the S-AFC. I have had my battery disconnected numerous times, including one stretch of a couple weeks, and have never lost my settings. You could always crack it open and have a look.

I can't remember the settings off of the top of my head and my car is not with me right now, so I can't answer the other part of your post.

well if it keeps going back to factory settings. you have to change it back before you started the car every morning... because with the sensor types etc not set it probably won't start.

It's working fine now. No clue why it started to save it. Thanks anyway.
