I'm the one with the broken laptop. Its still broken and nothing has come of it. He told me after the "other" thread about him that he was going to talk to the post office about it being broken and all but it had already been a month or so. I seriously doubt they are going to pay to fix something that is broken...a month later. Last time I communicated with him was sept. 19.

I figure since he hasen't gotten back to me I'm pretty much fucked out of my $650. I even offered to mail him the computer back if he sent me $500... Thats right I was going to take a $150 hit for nothing

I'm so ******* pissed about this whole deal. From now on I will get references on people I buy from.

Don't trash Anchorage just because that's where this jackass is from. It's not a "tough" town, but it's nice that way. Also, where you were born/raised has no relevance as to how "tough" the streets of Anchorage are...

the canadian boarder out to Alaska is pretty far. About a day or two drive. Anchorage is their capital, if I'm not mistaken.... and is smack down in the middle of the state. It'll take you about 3 days to get there from the Canadian boarder, or more.
