rx8 wheels on a 7?

This is my first post and hopefully not my last. Does anyone know if RX8 wheels will fit on an 88 vert (5 lug)? If they would I think i might get me a set.
Thanks

yes but you need a spacer. Get ready to pay though, those things are expensive. Of course a friend of mine can get them for cheaper.

My understanding is that you would need a huge spacer, that the RX-8 wheel has an offset of about 60mm (while our cars have an offset of 40mm for up to a 7 inch width).

So then the smallest size RX-8 wheel is a 7.5 inch (which means you would need to add another 10mm offset to fit).

So a 30mm spacer seems a little out of place

Those are suprisingly good looking on that FC. What size rims are those? I was told that FCs could only hand a 17in x 7.5w wheel. Are there ways around what 'Big-O-Tires' has in their computers as the maximum size?

is it just me or does anything past a 17 inch wheel make a fc look like a hot wheel car?

I like the way those rims look; is that the same tire size that comes on the rims stock? Where can you get a 5/8 spacer at?

I saw one RX-8 where the wheel's spokes were wide in the center and tapered to a narrower end towards the edge of the wheel... basically the reverse of those and all '8 wheels I'd seen before. it look SO much better IMO, sitting side-by-side I would take the reversis in a heartbeat. they were also chrome.

maybe it has to do with how the car is lowered, and how the spacing is done. very nice red vert--jeremie

I wouldn't get anything bigger than a 17" rim for my FC.
