RX8 Stat gears, S5 TII motor (s5 eshaft) set screw tension?

Hey guys,
I know that with the RX-8 stationary gears you need to use the set screw to clearance the bearing to the eccentric shaft. What I am wondering is there a specific clearance I need to measure to, or what is the best way to set this up?

Thanks

When you buy the bearings you specify the size, they have like 6 different bearing sizes, I measured my eshaft, and when with the bearing size that was the next size larger. I think that set screw is to retain the bearing not size it to the shaft diameter.

The set screw is to keep the bearing from spinning, and has nothing to do with clearance. The FD's are set up the same way.

To check clearance you are supposed to use feeler gauge with the bearing on the shaft, or you can measure ID of the bearing versus OD of the shaft and do math.

Almost forgot, you will need to make the hole in the rear stat gear a little larger, I used a flashlight in the bearing and looked in the oil filter flange passages to see how much I needed to remove.
