rx7 wont start

Unhappy rx7 wont start

hi i got a 89 rx7 that wont start all the belts turn, and its getting spark but the engine wont kick over it wont start any sugestions what it may be.....

Do the unflooding procedure: pop he hood, take out the two top fuses, crank the car while holding the throttle wide open(pedal to the floor), After cranking two or three times for 10 seconds each(30 second rest periods) replace the fuses. It should start now.

i hated doing that,push starting,after doing that twice i put in a cut off switch,never happend again

how did you do the cut off?

hi i have a 86 rx7, second time it floods and if you got the answer to solving that damn problem i'd really like to know. thanks

there is a thread on this already on how to make a fuel cut off switch (FCD I think) But its not that hard to do at all. But the only way i don't flood my engine is rev'in it up to 4-5k before i shut the engine off.
