RX7 Tachometer dead & beep-beep

The tach stopped working and now whenever the vehicle is in motion I hear the warning Beep- beep constantly until I stop the vehicle for a light or stop sign. My mechanic will not even venture to guess how to either stop the beep-beep or get the tach to work. I'm Losing it, please help.

Well, the tack not working is usually caused by ad bad ground on the trailing coils. The beep usually the power steering computer. There should be something about that in the FAQ.

Hell, mine has beeped for a year now!!! 2 Audiobahn 12"subs, and about 1000w..
problem solved. As to the tach problem, mine only stops when I remove the Fuel pump relay or the connection above the brake pedal to stop power to the FP. (Flooding) Check your fuses and relays

Take a part the dash, most likely the connector for the tach got unplugged or lose, the beep sound is caused by that, plug the connector and you are done
