rx7 pros & cons
hello peoples,
where can i get info on 1989 rx7 (turbo and non turbo) and rotaries in general. I'm thinking of purchasing one, but i would like to know what i should look out for.
I currently own a twin turbo toyota sprinter, but i would like to give it up for an rx7 s5. I'm wondering if this is gunna be worthwhile.
Someone out there convince me!!!
cheers

This is like the 3000th question like this, but here goes:
Pros- very nimble, fun to drive, fairly fast, rev it up without worry...
Cons- eats gas, getting old (maintenance), good luck finding a decent rotary mechanic
There are more, hopefully someone else will chime in...

Pros:
1. Giant killer. TIIs can run with some pretty impressive cars. On a road course these cars are competition for 350Z, S2Ks. They're very well rounded and are strong in all areas, power - good power band, both dynamic handling situations and turning a simple arc, brakes, well balanced.
2. Cheap. For their performance they're excellent bang for the buck. (atleast over here)
Cons:
1. Atleast over here there isn't a lot of support for them.
