Hey everyone sorry to say I got rid of my Rx7 for a Conquest Tsi. I'll have a T2 next summer. Well my Friend is having problems with my old rx7. The car will start but you need to keep the pedal depressed and even then the rpms go down and you have to give it more gas. The cars brand new cat is glowing red after only a few minutes and it has crazy backfiring. We checked the primary and seconday ingnition systems and it seems only the primary is firing. Could this be the problem? He said he was driving around and all of a sudden the car just bucked and fell on its face. Now when you start it you have to keep your foot on the gas or it will die. Any Ideas? Thanks for the help everyone.

 

ERrr.. has he had his compression checked yet?
