Rx7 fuel issues

Hi! Been a member for a while now but left my cars at home to travel. Upon returning my rx7 does not fire up!

Car:
1987 rx7 t2

Facts:
Starter spins engine properly
Spark plugs are firing
Deflooding procedure completed

I have now started looking at fuel , I am unsure of how to check fuel pressure. However the fuel pump is not making a functioning noise. Voltage is present at the fuel pump(blue and black wires). I disconnected the fuel hoses and both were very dry. I'm thinking I need a fuel pump. Just want to make sure I'm on he right path as my budget is short!! Any guidance is appreciated

Thanks

Eric

Unplug the feed hose to the engine after the fuel filter. Place hose in a jug. Jumper the fuel check connector and w/key to on the pump should turn on and thus fill the jug with gas. Now leaving gas in the tank for this long will be problematic because the fuel will go bad, possibly clog the fuel sock on the fuel pump or clog up the fuel lines, fuel filter, fuel injectors and so on.

How long has it sat? Vacuum leaks could have developed in that time. Broken vacuum hoses and whatnot
