rx7 doesn't work.
Alright i recently painted the car in my garage. I changed the battery about 2-3 times since i had it sitting for about 2 months when i was painting it, since i was trying to start it up in between during the painting process. Anyways, after i finished the painting it i drove it around for 2 days. And then i left it alone just yestrday all day and now today it wouldn't turn on. It wouldn't crank. None of the lights on the inside would turn on. So i pulled out the alternator since i felt like that might have been the issue but my local auto parts store said it was running strong. They tested it twice and said it was just fine. Any ideas on what the issue might be?
Recharge the battery. See if it will start now. Yes? Okay, something must be draining your battery. Get a multimeter, set it to amps. Disconnect the negative battery terminal from the battery post. Now touch the terminal and battery post with your multimeter leads. Do you read any current? Yes? Something is definately draining your battery. Start pulling fuses (under the steering wheel) until the multimeter stops measuring a current drain. The pulled fused that fixes the drain is where your short is. Read the name of the fuse to see what device is drawing power. Go fix that device.
