rx7 clunking

ko so when im driving my 87 turboll everytime i shift it wakes a clunk sound from the diff. i was wondering if this is a common problem and if it could be the mount or the bushings? which is more common

i would first look into the differential mount being the culprit. next, do you hear the clunking over bumps or just when you shift?
