rx7's either have a 12a or a 13b engine, that's it. There is no 2.4L engine.

The guy probably read that SCC article where they were saying it was really a 2.6L and got a little confused.

generally, people are clueless about the rotary, get used to it.
Most people who own the car think it's a 4-banger because of it having 4 spark plugs.

When rotaries compete in motorsport they are classed by using an equivalence factor of 1.8, so a 1308cc 13B becomes 2354cc or 2.4L.
