Rx-7 won't Idle *Help*

I'm looking to buy an rx-7 from some local dealer. It's an 87' rx7 turbo and says it was donated to them awhile back and has under 100k miles. He says it won't run cause it won't idle or something. All I can remember is that he said all it needed was a fuel something. I can't remember what he said after fuel. I think he said fuel alternator or something like that...

Anybody know about what this guy is talking about and how much it would cost me to get whatever he was talkin about?

Thanks

Offer him $1,000 for it, and then fix it up, theres no telling whats been done to that car, it will most likely need to be rebuilt sometime in the future, but you never know compression test will tell all, but the task at hand is to first find out whats wrong.. I'd go back and have him get one of the mechanics to take a look at it, it could be a handful of things ( big vacuum leak, fuel pump, injectors, low compression and so on.) Perhaps he said fuel pressure regulator?

Yeah, I think he said fuel regulator... Can someone please explain what that is and how much it would cost me?

The dealer said he had a mechanic come check it out who knew all about rx-7's and said all it need was a fuel regulater i think.

Nevermind, I just called the guy back and he said all it needed was a new Idle Control Valve. Anybody know what this is and how much/where can I buy it from?
