Which integra engine is in the CRX and is it a Si or not?? If its a GSR motor then it should be fast, 1000lb car + 150+hp motor = OK fast car, if its a Type R(B18C5) it should be pretty fast, 1000lb car + 190+hp motor = fast car. just some arround about HP specs on integra motors, these should be JSpec figures US figures should be a little lower but not much.

The Scoupe will likely fall apart before it hits 3rd gear! The Crx with a Teg Engine is plenty fast but not quick enough with an LS motor. Are you talking 140hp 1.8L or GSR, TypeR? If the base LS motor, then it will be close but I give the edge to the RX7. GSR, Type R motor...CRX all the way.

My vote will go to the CRX with a GSR engine. I don't think anyone is dumb enough to do a LS drop in, but then again, you never know.

If it was from Japan, someone de-turbo'd it. Very dumb.

Hate to burst your bubbles people, but a '91 CRX with its own B16 engine is DAMN FAST. Drop in the GSR engine (not even the Type-R one ), and the CRX comes into super-car times territory....

....not to mention a turbo-ed CRX in Athens, which puts 384HP to the crank, and close to 350FWHP. It could only be timed from a roll, because the clutch gave up after 2 launches.... This car should be in the sub-4" 0-100kph...

Put down the bong! A 91 CRX SI (B16) being DAMN FAST?? Are you sure you don't mean DECENT but still DAMN SLOW? Those things do a 16.5 second 1/4mile. That is not DAMN FAST! Even with a B18 swap (140-180hp) it still can't compete with a 2nd gen that has a 3rd gen engine in it!

CRX w/ LS motor will do 15.0 1/4 mi. with GSR motor, somewhere in high 13s to low 14s. with a type-r motor it'll do mid 13s. all that depending on the driver and tuning of course.

I think the CRX will win.. Try to get him to launch from a stop, he's at a disadvantage there, and don't push it too far and you should be able to squeak by.

I was under the impression that the CRX had the 1.6 DOHC vtec engine in Japan, no turbo.

I would hate to tell anyone who says CRXs are slow, but my brothers is a '88 Si w/ stock D16 and he just ran 12.8s w/ a cam, cam gear, fuel rail, port and polished & milled head, and 75 shot NOS, no emmisions, and his buddy has a GSR motor in his '89 CRX w/ little mods and he can beat my brothers.

Once again a misunderstanding due to the differences between US and EUR. Over here the CRX VTEC came with the B16A1, which is DOHC VTEC with 160HP and 15,8kg torque. It has a stock 7" flat 0-100kph, and close to 15" for 0-400m.

Drop in the B18A (which is 170HP, 17,5kg), and the little CRX drops to 6,5" and 14,5" respectively.

Drop in the B16A Spec-R or the B18C (again Spec-R), with 185HP and 210HP (again, Euro/Japan specs) and the CRX goes below 6" easily and close to 14" 0-400m.

Not to mention the turbo possibilities....

Guys, I know about Hondas. Used to have one, and have driven/riden in almost every one of them (even S2000 )
