rx-7 or mx-3?

Hey, I'm thinking about selling my 87 gxl with new engine (approx. 30,000 miles on it) that has pretty bad body damage, and getting a 93 mx-3 with the 1.8liter v-6. My Rx-7 was smashed into a light pole by the guy i bought it from (for a grand) then the engine blew, so i replaced it, but since then 4 other things have broken. Also, i have a 2.5 liter mazda v-6 that i could drop into the mx-3 (got it for free, crate engine). What would you do? the mx-3 has almost no body damage and 116,000 orginal miles, with all power options installed. and my rx-7 has new engine with all power options except locks and power steering (which just went out on me) and a crappy body. mx-3 is selling for 2500 or best offer, im selling rx-7 for 2200 or best offer (will probably get like 1900 for it).

buy another running 7
Swap your engine into it, and put its engine into the car with the bad body.

Well... the mx3 is pretty light weight... and with the KL03, it can be a pretty quick car... but honestly after driving an mx6 and getting an rx7, i'd stick with the rx7, or get another one. I'll never go back to FWD.

My GF has an MX6 with the 2.5 and the engine is pretty damn strong. I wouldn't mind having an MX3 with one in it personally. And with what you have to work with I'd go with that. Also, if you get $1900 for your car I'd praise god.

Yeah, screw FWD.. Do a TII swap, and that would be whole hell of alot better than swapping an engine into a MX3
