Rx-7 heater sux in the winter!
I know that the Logicon unit for the heater is not the best, but what sort of heat can I expect to get in the winter? I literally have to warm the car for at least 10 minutes with the fan on full blast, before I can actually get in the car without freezing my *** off.

My heat used to be great, and it used to heat up quickly. I just changed my thermostat, and now it takes FOREVER. I just recieved an OEM thermostat, that I'm putting in tommorow. Hopefully that will fix my problem. I'll let you know if that helps me. If so, a new thermostat is only like $10 or something.

umm, the heater has nothing to do with how fast it gets warm in the morning... if you left your heater off the engine would warm up faster. your engine needs to heat up before it can blow warm air. leave your heater off or at full cold for the first 5 mins then turn it on.
putting a mazda thermostat would probably help it to id you don't already have one in.
