rx-7 engine rebuild

rx-7 engine rebuild

iam getting my engine rebuilt its a 1986 rx-7 n/a he wants between 2200 to 2500 to rebuild it then another 300 for it to be street ported. i also have bad rotors so for 300 more he can put good used ones on. so is it a reasonable price. also how mush hp dose street port add. and how much more a dose bridge port add. is bridge port streetable

Thats a little steep if he isnt using new housings. Generally if nothing is damaged it costs ~500$ for new seals. Anything after that is labour. Bridgeports generally are not that streetable (they really dont start making good power till 7000rpm). However, a small bridge may work on a weekend car. I would not want to use one as a daily driver.

I agree, contact Kevin. He would give you a much better deal than whoever you are dealing with now.
