Okay so I have a 87 tii..it needs a safety/inspection but it can't pass because of alignment issues...only thing holding it back but major...THis is because apparently my frame is slightly bent. As far as I know they can pull it and it's not that costly...except for one thing, they can't because my frame rail's are rusted. Has anyone had any experience with putting new ones in. Can it be done? I have access to welding equipment, and my buddy is pretty good. Also it would be a winter project as I'm guessing it's time comsuming. Or does anyone have any other suggestions, besides buying a shell...that's not possible where I live and I'm not buying one from the states.
