rust in radiator

i had to take my radiator out yesterday and when i drained it i noticed the water came out brown and dirty. the coolant is relatively fresh, havent even driven 200 miles with that coolant. so i figure i got rust and stuff in my radiator. how do i clean it out? special solvents? soap and water? or just radiator flush it when i put it back on the car?

chance is, if your radiator is rusted, it is going to leak in the future.

Go buy a bottle of Prestone Anti Leak ****, which has anti rust in it also. BTW, people should use those anti rust/leak **** before these ***** happen!

The rust is not from your rad - its aluminum. More likely its from the cast iron plates in the engine. Flush everything and use a good quality green coolant with distilled water (don't use tap water its full of crap).
