it's on;y been cold a few days here but everyday that it's been cold i have trouble. when i start my car and give it gas it acts like it wants to die until i reach about 4k rpm and it does this until the engine is warm. is this normal? i can't remember if it did this last winter, this is only the second winter i have owned it. thanks

Do you still have the fast idle cam & such on the car?

Done anything on the car lately that might have created a vac leak?

Funny u bring this up. I'm having the same problem. I know it is not vacuum related. All my hoses have been replaced. I'm going to check the BAC and I still have the cold start assist installed. I will try to dissable that and then check the BAC. Hopefully, we can see if any others have the same problem....

i strapped a cone filter onto my mass airflow sensor until i can get a cold air intake made, maybe that is the problem. the filter is 3" and the sensor is 2" i believe but i strapped that sucker down really well.

also when it is cold outside i have trouble starting the car and if i give it just a little gas i can start it. do you think m fuel filter is bad. i have owned the car for over 1.5 years and have not changed the filter. the engine was rebuilt 23k ago which was about 2.5 years ago and i am not sure thay changed the filter? thanks

Can't be an air flow filter, I have a K/N filter on my intake and that is not causing the problem. I'm going to replace the BAC and see if that helps.
