Unhappy Runs on one rotor at start up

Hope someone can help with this one. Engine starts on one rotor only and lasts for 30 seconds then the other one kicks in. It takes longer for it to kick in cold than hot, but still does it hot and it's very hard to start the car. I can't drive it anywhere unless I stay and let it cool off. The compression is good. The plugs and wires are new. I have good spark. I did all the fuel pressure tests. ok. No injectors leaking. The battery has a full charge. The computer has been resodiered. The car runs fine on the fwy. It has a high idle at times other times its normal. Also has a new air filter. When at idle if I try to remove the air cleaner hose from the throttle body the engine will die. Is this normal? I also adjusted the tps by the book. I don't have the dealer manual, just one of the cheap ones. This car is driving me crazy, running out of ideas. Anyone have any similar problems. I will try anything that you guys can come up with. I have another question, I'm new and if someone writes to me and asks a question, how do I reply to them. Thanks Gary
