Runs on one rotor once warmed up? 88 TII
Today, the car fired up as usual, untill i drove about 10 mins when it started to run on one rotor and die. I could hardly restart it, however i managed to limp the car into a parking lot a couple of kms down the road. After letting it sit for about 20 mins, the car started and ran fine for about another 10 mins. I hooked my timing light over the leading coil wires , and it was picking up a signal from each wire. (i did this when the car was still warm and would hardly start)
I am thinking it may be an injector problem, howver my car does not have any grounds added or any other modifications asides from the emmisions removal.
Please help!
THANKS,

On my car, it was a fried injector. One of the primary injectors was @ 14K ohms when it should've been 14. When you get the UIM off, unplug each injector and measure it's resistance. They should all be the same. If one is extremely high that would be the bad one. Resistance increases with heat, so an injector on the edge of working, added heat may cause it not to work. Just a theory though.

Respecognize!
yeah, try the poor mans compression test for ***** and giggles, but i dont think that is your problem.
sounds like an issue with fuel delievery. Ideally, someone with more experience in how the ECU operates will chime in but ill but some "ideas" out there.
i know what FC has a hotstart issues caused by the ecu reading a certain signal from i believe on of the temp sensors. This causes more or less fuel to be used. Being that one rotor is going and not both, i would lean away from it being ecu, although if you can find a spare to try, id give it a go. From here, check your injectors, one might be going bad and overheating or otherwise malfunctioning.
