OK so I have an elderly T2 (87) that I have replaced the down pipe and cats with a 3” pipe to the stock Y pipe. Installed FCD and removed the air pump and the crap that goes with it. Ported the WG and put in a K&N replacement filter. The car runs so rich my buddy says he can’t follow me in traffic! The tail pipes are sooty black and it floods very easily. The TPS was just adjusted and the AFM is new but it still seems to run very rich. What am I missing? I do not want 300+ hp just want it to run better.

Well, I hope your not thinking of passing an emmissions test I think that it's all emmission controls, that's why your running so rich. I think the best way to lean it out is for a manual fuel controller and a little luck. Hope everything works out. Maybe a TII guy will have some better advice
