I recently bought a 1986 non turbo to autocross. The only problem with the car initially was the gauge cluster not working. While just poking around with a voltmeter I did something to the engine. When you try to start it it will fire up, but will die immediately unless you push the accelerator almost to the floor. The first couple inches on the pedal do absoultly nothing, but all at once it revs the engine. I am semi new to RX7's, have done work on an 85 that with a carb. I don't want to do any more damage so for now the car is just sitting.
