Running lean after TPS adjustment
i have two more issues now. looked at my exhaust tips, and they're brownish white!!! That means I'm running lean, isnt it? Because before the re-adjustment of the TPS they were black. Carbon-y, but black :S. Plus, my boost is not as high as it was yesterday by a LONG shot. it only goes up halfway from 0mmhg to 450mmhg, when it used to go up just shy of 400mmhg before all this crap.
Anyways, help! please!!
PS, i HAVE made sure that I adjusted it properly this time when the car was JUST turned off. In fact, it was still hot when i started it back up. I even took it for a drive, and double checked the lights, still only one was on.

It only started happening after setting the tps the second time! I might have just not noticed it yesterday before I was doing the second tps adjustment.
What if i just adjust the tps to be a little bit more rich? Would that be with both lights on or both lights off?

Figured it out... after resetting the tps, i also unplugged hte battery to reset the ecu. I guess the ECU had to re-learn the fuel maps. Now my tips are black again for some reason And the boost? Well... i found the problem for that too... you ready???
THE STOCK BOOST GAUGE IS AN INACURATE PEICE OF ****!!! Get an aftermarket one. Mine showed me two different values for boost, Nothing in the car changed, not even temperature, just time of day. Car pulled JUST as hard if not HARDER when the boost was showing lower (also a bit cooler out now). It never went past 40mmhg. Anyway, i'm getting an aftermarket replacement for that peice of junk
