you can buy FD twins for a few hundred dollars, get them instead.

Technicly what is needed to run any of the stock sets of twins:

A couple of RPM switches and a couple of boost/vaccuum solenoids, and a couple or relay's.

what you need to do is a little more research =P

If you really want to run sequential with stock twins your going to have to figure out how it works. In that respect it would probably be better off getting stock FD twins and running them sequentially because you could use the FSM to help you figure it out. I am sure if you look more you can figure out how the RE twins work though.

On top of that if your planning to tune it in the future you would need to get a stand alone EMS. With the complexity of a sequential set I'd suggest looking into MoteC as it has a lot of I/O that you could probably use for that.

I'd suggest you do a little more research.

If you want to truly mimic the stock sequential system, you'd need at least 4 channels of output.
3 out of the 4 are just binary ON / OFF, but that 4th one is a progressive (i.e. analog) control from ON to OFF.

Stock twins are a waste of time.
I've got a set just collecting rain water and rusting...just to give you an idea of how worthless they are to me.

The Haltech E6 series can also run them sequentially. Maybe not as good as a stock ECU can.
