Rtek 2.1 idle adjustability

Hey guys, sorry if this has been answered before. My friend has an S4 TII with a street port, 720's, and rtek 1.7. The emissions have been removed and the car floods a lot and has a really rich idle (10.5 or so), then going a bit lean under boost (13.5 or so). This is with a calibrated wideband o2.

Would upgrading to an rtek 2.1 allow us to bring the fuel back to where we would like? The injectors are new, the fuel pressure regulator is new, and I believe he is using a direct wired FD pump.

Thanks for any advice,
Grant

Does the car have 720 primaries?

With the Rtek 2.1, you tune idle with the variable resistor just like stock. It becomes part of the Rtek programming, so the actual resistor can be removed, but it works the same. Has your friend adjusted the variable resistor at all? You would be able to add fuel under boost, but 13.5 AFR under boost is much leaner than you should be seeing even with the v1.7. Something isn't adding up. What is the voltage at the fuel pump, and what is the fuel pressure at idle/0 pressure/positive pressure?

Thanks for the tips. I will look into that. Although, I can't really easily test fuel pressure under load.
