RPM issue! Help!

Hey Guys,

having a new problem with my '91 vert. This JUST started happening Monday. I dont even know why.

91 vert, 5-speed, all stock except exhaust mod.

When i press the gas the RPMs go up faster than the car accelerates. Its worse in 5th gear and 4th gear. It happens sort of bad in 3rd and 2nd. It doesnt really happen in first.

Is this really bad? I dont know too much but sounds like a clutch issue.

Need help!

Thanks in advance!

Should i get the whole kit? Its only like $130 and comes with pressure plate, disc, release bearing, pilot bearing and pilot bearing seal.

If the flywheel is not burned - you may not have to resurface it.
If the pilot bearing looks good, you may want to grease & leave the origonal. (It's easy to damage a new pilot bearing during installation.)
