I just got an 88 GX, the car is running great but sometimes when I shift into second my car will ... umm how can I describe it. It bounces around, as if I were tapping the gas/brake. It doesn't stop right away either, it'll do it for a several seconds or until I push the clutch in. At first I just figured it was because I was letting the clutch out too fast (my first manual car), but now that I'm getting better it still happens. Even my friend who is a fairly experienced driver did it.

So do you think it's user error or something mechanical?
