Yup, it could be the apex seals going. Do you have any smoke? It's a good idea for anyone buying an rx to have a compression test done ON BOTH ROTORS-it'll cost like $50.

Is this really true? I mean there are plenty of things that might make for a rough idle but it could be the apex seals? I'm not doubting you, I just have never heard that before.

d00d he has 9 posts... unless he reads all the time and doesn't say anything... he could be talking out of his ***.
first... ANYONE who joins needs to read the FAQ, and get a copy or bookmark the copy of the FSM links. SEARCH the forum for questions and answers to questions. A LOT of these things are covered and just because someone posts an answer don't mean nothing.
second... If you need to know something and can't find the answer then ask, but PLEASE read the FAQ and search.
third... I don't know everything about the cars, but a rough idle could be a lot of things and a bad apex seal can cause rough idle, but it would probably not run fine when it is at higher rpms.
I would say you need to check TPS, once thats properly set, then you need to check your vac lines, your BAC, your AWS, and about 5 other things including grounds.
