ok... car idels good when headlights and everything is off.. as soon as i turn the head lights on car drops in idel and starts to idel kinda rough.. it idels at about 500 or 700 rpm... its an 89 NA...

i was thinking i might jsut need new spark plugs or something...

Check/clean your BAC valve.
It's supposed to compensate for engine loads (like headlights).

just used the search button.. couldent really find a discraiptive picture of what i should be looking for. know of any pic of it... or a pic of an engine bay and jsut circle it in paint program...

Get the FSM, you will need it to trouble shoot the BAC anyways. It's located on the upper intake manifold. It will have a hose coming into it off the intake tube. If you look from the front passenger side, it is right below your fuel injectors. It has two small coolant hoses coming off the top of it which come off with the screw holding it, its not part of the BAC valve itself....

Does the same happen with the A/C on?

its kidna like that.. but with headlight on idel drops.. with AC on idel raises.
