AL Rotor Metal

What metal is used to make rotors for the rotary engines, bronze??

I have 4 that I want to take to the salvage yard and I believe that the copper in bronze would yield me more money than just steel.

Thanks

You won't get hardly anything for those.

I'd say keep one as a desk ornament and find some other creative use for the other three.

Hell, If you want to give one to me, I want a rotor desk ornament. I'll pay you for the shipping.

why would you think they are bronze? they have a very fine zinc coat on them, even that doesn't even look close to bronze..

By the way, I am serious about wanting one. PM me if you'll send me one of those.
