rotor housing interchangeability and other such questions...

ok, i have decided to rebuild my 87 TII motor. since FD housings are supposedly the best to use, will they fit on the S4 motor? also, i would like this motor to be bulletproof, so besides 3mm seals and such, what else would u guys recommend? thanks!

I have 3mm seals in mine, but Ive heard that the Mazda 2mm ones are supposed to be better unless you are running high hp. You can upgrade the oil system, and the cooling system to help keep the motor strong.

I know the rotors are the same but ive never heard of anyone interchanging the housings. If this is possible i think i might like to do it. Since im pretty handy with with a wrench if theres a little custom fitting needed i could most likely do it. So does anyone know if this is possible?

so how hard is it to put an FD motor into an FC, minus the turbos of course...
are the mounts the same, or do they need to be custom made?
thanx

Nope the mounting points are completly different. The ones for the 13brew are on the rear of the engine while the fc's are on the front. I know k2rd sells adapters for the 20b and 13re but i dont know about the 13brew.
