at this point it will be aesthetics........i doubt there are any benefits.

 

i think it looks ghey, much like the rear window louvers. it looks like a car wearing a hat backwards.

 

It looks like it might be to smooth the detachment of air from the roof too rear hatch area. I still dont think it looks very good tho,..

 

and its gotta negatively effect reverse driving aerodynamics

 

IMO it looks like it disrupts air flow to the spoiler, you want downforce on the back of the car not a little at the middle, if it even adds any downforce at all. it looks like a worthless piece that is just for aesthetics and negatively affects performance.

 

how about someone throw it in a wind tunnel and get some real answers instead of just guessing..... hmm. oh and stop putting in your 2 cents just to say it "ghey". Its gay to say "ghey". and if you dont have something constructive to say then shut up. thanks.

Dude, regaurdless whether it's a girl or guy, the ratio of size of Japanese driver to car makes that FC look like a Cadillac! It's huge! I'm 6'1" and my car's like a tinker toy!

And on that note a Japanese chick in a FC is freakin hot!

 

I just wanted to see how it would look. I don't think that you can really pull it off without destroying the lines on the car. It gives it an 80's camaro look that I am totally not digging. I like the light, small, fast look myself.

 

MY corksport front end arrived today!!!!!!!!!!! but the ******* left it at the front door instead of holding it at DHL like THEY SAID THEY WOULD!!!!!!!!!!!!! i hope i's still there when I get home tonight.

 

Seems kinda pointless and ricer-ish to me, but that's just my opinion. I think all non-stock body modifications are pure "rice" and pointless, but to each their own.

reviewing the pic, if the wing tilted up a bit, it actually looks like it's in a better place for downforce than a wangan wing. It's almost directly over the rear tires and the air doesn't have to travel down to reach it.
