rip in my vert top anything to fix it?
I have a rip in my vert top and wanted to know if anybody had any suggestions on repairing it. No holes just a nice little rip. I went to a shop here in town that specializes in top repairs and they said i needed to buy a new top, is this true or is there anything out there that can patch this up?

There are numerous "quick fixes" that you can do instead of purchasing a new top. Try this link; it's a RX-7 convertible forum. There are many posts in regards to your problem. Good luck.
