I voted for white. They can look like crap when you're standing still (not looking so hot in the picture above) but when you're moving they look nice.

Select whatever you want to change the color of and use saturation, brightness, contrast, color balance, etc settings until you get it the way you want. Hardest thing is working on a larger scale like full paint jobs of a car or something, rims are easy. I've been doing this stuff for a couple years now, used to take stock cars and play with them in PS changing paint job, rims, lowering, adding front mount, tint, whatever just for fun. The best looking jobs always start with a larger/higher resolution picture. Smaller or lower resolution pictures generally look less real in my opinion.

Good job dDub, you did make it come out for all to see.

I like the white, but that is kinda 80s socal. Seems the race movement has a lot of wheels being painted black or dark. I guess what is cool this year

I did a real nice 69 bug back in'87 or so. I had the dash, door jams, engine bay, trunk area and empi 8 spoke wheels all painted a really bright clean white and I made sure all the rubber was replaced fresh black and tinted the Windows really dark. That car got a lot of good complements. Even if you weren't a fan of VWs the car still got your attention. I am thinking of the same color scheme with my already white '89 vert.
