right price for a parts car?

I need some advice- I am considering purchasing an '87 GXL parts car, and would like your advice on what to offer for it. Here is a description of the overall condition of the car

Body-
all panels in good condition, glass all appears to be good.

Engine bay-
engine had a minor fire, so the fuel system and some wiring will need to be replaced. The engine is rebuilt with 10k miles on it.

Exhaust system-
Not really usable. The cat is shot, and the rear half of the left muffler is gone.

Suspension-
Looks decent.

Wheels-
The wheels are in good condition, with no major curb kisses

Interior-
Everything is faded, cracked or torn

I basically want the engine, suspension, and wheels for my '87 base model. What should I offer? The seller is asking US $600 OBO

sounds good to me. If the driveline is also good then it's a great deal.
