If you only took one hose off then yes the fuel filter line is the right one.

Does anyone have any proof that this thing works?

I haven't gotten to my engineering classes that would cover this kind of thing but quite frankly it sounds like complete bullshit.

Just follow the line under the car, if it goes to the fuel filter... thats the one.

complete waste of money. Proven not to work by Popular Mechanics.

So to answer the thread originators question, yes you have it on the right fuel line. Any fuel line will net the same results
