Rewire low oil/coolant light
I purchased a 5one5 3 gauge pod that goes over the idoit cluster. the problem is i dont wanna loose the lights for low coolant and oil for obvious reasons. i was thinking bout drilling a small hole on top of pod and having like 2 lights or leds.
i want one to light up if low coolant and the other if low oil. anyone ever try this before?

you should have enough wire on the Harness to Take the Idiot Cluster and Move it Down to the Stereo Location. If you Run a ONE Din Set-up then Put the Idiot lights UNDER the Stereo...That's what I am Doing..with the same setup that you are talking about..OH,you will have to Modify the Surround a Touch.(s5).

You could make sure the warring buzzer still works. Test your coolant and oil level sensors per the FSM then you don't need the lights. If the buzzer starts screaming turn off the engine.
If you just want the lights the wiring diagram is in the FSM also, it shouldn't be that hard.
