rewire.. important question!! plz

on the fuel pump rewire you cross the blue/red and blue wires on the engine bay harness end.. well there are 2 of each blue/red and blue.. what if i get them switched around? what do these do? and howdo i know wich blue goes to wich blue/red if i get em switched around (wich i already did)

here's what you do.
..
1 3 5
2 4 6

looking at the plug from the engine harness. use a butt connector or solder to connect wires 1 & 2, and wires 5 & 6. and use speaker wire to run wires 3 & 4 to the rear of the car. i relocated the entire plug to the rear of the car in case i have to replace the resistor relay. all i have to do is unplug it and plug in another one.

oops, didn't noticed that you had already mixed them up. well. hmm.... i'm just guessing here, but i don't think it matters. as long as you have a blue/red with a blue then you'll be fine. the only thing that matters is that you hook everything up correctly in the rear of the car which shouldn't be a problem since you have a diagram.....right?

let's say the blue/red is the 12v input, and the solid blue would be the output, if the resistor relay is there. well, all you are doing is bypassing all that. so all you have to do is connect the input wire to the output wire, your ecu won't know the difference. if you want me to make a lengthy post to explain it i can. just let me know

here is a thread with the rewire diagram.

and here is a thread with the electrical schematics diagram, 8th post

doesn't matter.

which means your lucky. should always label wires before cutting and mixing...

if you look at the schematics diagram, you'll notice at the resistor/relay part, there are two inputs on the left side and two outputs on the left side. it doesn't matter if you get them mixed up, they are going to the same place.
